Bruce Honig, M.A.

IdeaGuides Founder, Owner and Master Facilitator. What excites Bruce about being a facilitator is the opportunity to create working group environment
that will enable each person to generate ideas and make decisions together, collectively. 

Bruce has been a facilitator for over 30 years. His approach is eclectic and is focused on providing what is best for the client. His background in organizational development and curriculum design makes him extremely qualified to design and deliver a wonderful and productive meeting.

Bruce is a specialist in creative thinking, especially motivating teams to think creatively.  He has written several books such as Creative Collaboration: Simple Tools for Creative Teamwork and In Pursuit of the Team’s Aha!.  He is also former publisher of the newsletter called “the CreativeMind: Creativity and Innovation in Business,” and an inventor of many creativity games.

Bruce served on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco chapter of American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and is a member of the International Association of Facilitators.

 

Alice Cochran, M.A.

Alice has been active in the field of organization development for over fifteen years. Her focus is in working with teams and facilitating groups to achieve high levels of planning and performance.

Alice has had extensive experience both in service industries and manufacturing.

In addition, she has written Roberta’s Rules of Order for corporate teams, nonprofit boards and other decision-making groups. She is a Faculty Fellow i
n the Institute for Leadership Studies and an adjunct instructor at Dominican University of California in San Rafael.

She also served on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco chapters of American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Bay Area Organization Development Network (BAODN). She is also a founding member of the International Association of Facilitators and the Bay Area Facilitator’s Guild.

Michael Wong, C.M.F., J.D.

Certified Master Facilitator

Mike has been an organizational development consultant and facilitator for over 16 years and has focused his practice on strategic planning, group process work, management development, and board development.  He has extensive experience with nonprofit organizations and government agencies, working on issues in the areas of civil rights, violence prevention, community health and prevention, children and families, and social justice.

Through Mike’s extensive experience as a facilitator he has developed a wide array of strategic planning facilitation and process tools.  In addition to the many years of experience in team-building and group dynamics, and as an attorney Mike has trained organizations and individuals in conflict management processes. 

He brings patience, fairness, and mediation skills to every conflict setting.

 

Ray Madaghiele. B.S.E.

Ray has over 25 years’ experience facilitating, training, speaking and coaching. His engaging processes and proven principles inspire people to “get clear, get organized, and get going.”

Ray’s facilitation specialties include strategic planning, leadership retreats, community visioning, problem solving, and employee engagement focus groups. His engaging and interactive facilitative style draws out and captures participants’ best ideas in a remarkably short period of time.

His clients include engineering companies, utilities, municipalities, airports, land developers, construction companies, and Native American communities.

Ray spent 10 years as a civil engineering project manager for several consulting firms and a large utility where he led multi-million dollar planning, design, and construction projects.

Ray has authored dozens of articles and training manuals. He is also author of the book, Ray of Hope: Inspiring Peace: Insights on Chaos and Consciousness while Bicycling Across America. This inspiring book chronicles his 3,369 mile, 70-day bicycle ride from Phoenix, AZ, to Ground Zero, NYC.

 

Ken Homer

World Café Facilitator & Executive Coach

Ken Homer founded Collaborative Conversations after a decade of collaboration with the founders of the World Café. Concurrent with his work at the World Café, Ken earned a certification in Integral Coaching© through New Ventures West – where he created their
Graduate Department and where he currently serves as Adjunct Faculty. He also headed up the Institute of Noetic Sciences Worldview Literacy Project, developing an architecture of engagement and a year long curriculum for creating greater personal awareness, increased social skills and more effective collaboration among diverse groups.

Ken works with clients to build their competence to design and convene conversations that include all relevant voices, address complex issues and make wiser decisions that enjoy widespread support. He has been a featured speaker at several conferences including: the National Coalition on Dialogue and Deliberation, Pegasus Systems Thinking in Action and CADCA. His clients include: Salesforce.com Genentech, NASA, Nike, The Center for Interfaith Relations, The Institute for Transpersonal Psychology, Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services and the National Park Service.
